During the test, stay calm and confident. Focus on the road, follow instructions, and don't rush. Confidence can make a difference.

Tip 4: Your car

Make sure your car is in a roadworthy condition, you will fail your test if it is not.

Tip 5: Be early

Show up 20 minutes before your test to park your car, reversing into the bay will mean an easier start to your test.

The test will include:

• Questions on the Rules of the Road (including identifying road signs); demonstrating hand signals.
• Reverse around a corner
• A turnabout (three point turn) in the road.
• A hill start.
• Driving approximately 8 Kilometers under a variety of road and traffic conditions.
